Where AI Meets Customer Experience

VeroTerra began with an idea from Ray Ragan, our Co- Founder and Chief Inventor. While on the AI Task Force (now Army AI Integration Center) for the U.S. Army, he was working with robots to help detect threats in complex environments, Ray began thinking about how similar technology could help retail businesses detect signals that are often missed, like early signs of customer frustration.

At the same time, organizations with customer-facing locations including credit union branches, retail stores, and restaurants were facing a major challenge. Every year, 15–45% of customers quietly churn, often without businesses understanding why.

​

When Christine Loredo, a long-time marketing leader focused on customer experience, joined the effort, she had seen this problem firsthand. Surveys and traditional feedback tools rarely revealed true customer sentiment. Response rates were low, feedback was delayed, and the results often reflected only the most frustrated voices.

That’s why VeroTerra Amplify was created.  The only AI-powered customer feedback platform designed for customer-facing locations. Powered by our patented Mirror technology, Amplify captures feedback in the moment and uses AI to surface insights that help organizations understand experiences, improve service, and keep customers longer.

Meet Our Co-Founders

Ray Ragan

Ray is a serial entrepreneur who was frustrated by the current ways of getting customer feedback and wanted to create a better way to do this. Using his experience in Net Promoter Score (NPS)©, computer vision, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Ray invented a new way to get customer feedback as easy as a thumbs up.

Ray is an Innovation Officer in the Army Reserve and is passionate about innovation in Defense and Financial tech. He holds several degrees and credentials. Ray served as an Army officer in Iraq, Korea, and the Philippines. He is an alum of Stanford's Strategic Decision & Risk and the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps).

Christine S. Loredo

Christine is a marketing & strategy focused executive who has launched dozens of successful consumer experiences and new businesses over the last 22 years. She understands the importance of customer satisfaction and has struggled with NPS® and its lack of actionable feedback. 

 

Most recently she was President/COO of TiFiPay, a bill pay start up.  Previously, she was at Envestnet Yodlee where she founded and established Yodlee’s award winning global incubator & launched Yodlee’s API and data businesses which led to a successful IPO and acquisition by Envestnet. She also led marketing at leading brands including Yahoo!, and AOL.

​

She holds a MBA and MIM from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Business and a BS degree from CU Boulder.
